Mutual Friends proudly offers a variety of short-term
programs tailored to the needs of the individual student or group. In addition to our homestay programs where students
are placed with American families, we utilize the Starr Home for small group programs. Among our short-term programs
are:
The MFSE Summer English
Program which is an in-house drop-in program. Students come and go throughout the course of the summer staying 4
weeks or 12 - whatever fits their needs. In addition to English classes, students in the summer program are able
to participate in a variety of field trips and activities.
The MFSE Short-term intensive English Program is an in-house group program lasting 10-15 days which offers
English lessons in conjunction with substantial sightseeing.
The MFSE Short-term sightseeing excursions are more laid back and include only sightseeing - no English class-time.
The MFSE Domestic History Program is for groups of
American students from distant parts of the U.S. to experience their country's history in the historic heart of America.

The Starr Home Facility for small groups is ideally
situated in the middle of American history, less than three hours from both Washington, DC and New York City, but yet in the
midst of wildlife. The home comfortably houses up to 12 visitors at a time.

MFSE Short-term programs involve intensive English
language studies and so much more. Students can expect to sightsee, play sports, have fun and learn!
